To make this season even more transformative for our students, your gift now through December 31 will go twice as far! Thanks to a $5,000 matching gift from the Hollenbeck Family, every dollar you donate will be matched dollar-for-dollar—a $25 gift becomes $50, a $100 gift becomes $200!

While we are working towards our financial goal, you’ll notice that we are far from our goal of 100% participation, with just over a quarter (28%) of our families participating so far this school year.
We are hoping that those of you who haven’t had an opportunity to participate, can pitch in what you can this holiday season. This will not only get us to our short-term financial goal but also support our long-term participation goal, which will help us with community and grant funding so we can continue to grow and provide award-winning ARTS FOR ALL!
As you likely know, arts programs of MSA’s caliber are usually expensive and not typically offered in a public high school setting. We are incredibly lucky to have 16 art specialties within Novato High School that are accessible to all Novato High School students.
However, the cost of art supplies, musical instruments, cutting-edge equipment, costumes, teaching artists, and industry-specific field trips and experiences (and the list goes on) truly adds up. While supportive of MSA, Novato Unified School District is only able to cover the costs of facilities and teacher salaries. The MSA Foundation must raise $500,000 annually to fill the gap.
