MSA Tours
Marin School of the Arts at Novato High School is a vibrant community of artists, thinkers and innovators who explore and grow together within a dynamic public high school. With 15 different arts programs to choose from and a faculty of professional artists, there is a program for every young artist at MSA. We take a holistic approach to arts education and offer students a chance to collaborate, develop artistically, and gain confidence in their skills.
MSA students participate in two arts classes as part of their Novato High School day, allowing students to grow their creativity in a supportive environment, share common passions with their peers, and develop skills that will serve them beyond high school. Students involved in the arts are five times more likely to stay in school, earn academic awards, and be recognized for their leadership. They develop critical thinking, time management, confidence and perseverance as they discover their purpose, identity and passions.
We offer a limited number of weekly tours in the fall semester to see our arts in action and find out if our programs are a good fit for you. However, it is not necessary to tour in order to apply for admission to MSA programs.
Selecting your MSA Family Tour — Reserve in August
MSA Tours are offered weekly from October through November by reservation only for a student accompanied by a parent or guardian. No drop-ins are allowed.
Choose your tour type: Visual Arts Tours are held on Tuesdays, Performing Arts Tours are on Thursdays. Cinematic Arts and Creative Writing are included in both tour types.
Tours are intended to families learn more about MSA, but are not required in order to apply for admission. Program information is also available on our website and all are welcome to attend our events and performances.
NOTE: The Fall 2026 Tour reservations form will open in mid-August.
