MSA Alum Tage Barker, who graduated as a stand out in Digital Arts & Animation last year, is excelling at NYU. And while she entered as Core Liberal Studies major, she signed up for an animation class at Tisch she didn’t expect to get as freshman student and has already advanced in the class.
“With her more advanced skills, Tage quickly became an unofficial lab helper, and the TAs recommended her to their Director to assist upper-class students on their film projects. She’s now finishing up two of those projects,” mom Karen shares.
In fact, the TAs for the course have reached out to see if Tage wants to take her skills to the next level, sharing that they are “making an advanced animation course that would run next year, and we wanted to know if you were interested in being part of the class.” Pretty amazing for a freshman at NYU! Congratulations Tage!
