MSA Cinematic Arts Director Philip Chidel visited San Jose Middle School last week with a crew of current students to help 8th grade students try their hands at film making. The results are impressive, just check out the video!
The visit is part of MSA’s efforts to ensure that all district 8th graders are aware of their options to participate in one (or two!) of MSA’s 16 arts programs when they transition to Novato High School next year. Shannon is visiting local public (and private) schools to get the word out and a special shout out to SJMS Drama teacher Mariah Fisher who is organizing program visits for middle schoolers to get hands on experience with MSA. Admissions are now open on the MSA website, along with weekly tours through November.
