Hello MSA Community,
It’s showtime! More specifically MSA SHOWCASE time!
In less than two weeks—on Saturday, May 4, the MSA community is invited to come together to enjoy all the things we love about MSA.
I’ve got some numbers to help you see yourself in the fun:
- 3 pop up stages
- 14 stellar main stage departmental numbers
- 160 student performers, artists and volunteers
- Nearly 100 pieces of student artwork and writing—many award winning!
- 300+ guests—hopefully including you!
Now, we know that sometimes your creative kid forgets to tell you that they are performing or exhibiting or helping out until the last minute. Because this event often sells out, we want to be sure newsletter-reading parents get a sneak peek at the student cast list and a chance to purchase tickets now (here). Whether or not your kiddo is on the cast list, everyone is welcome to this feel good community event.
We are also honored that the Arce-Salazar Family will serve as our hosts for the main stage performance. Alejandra Arce is an influencer, health coach, and former Univision reporter. Adolfo Salazar is a radio personality and music aficionado. MSA theatre boosters and parents to Tori Salazar, the family will guide us toward collective, artsy love. Our MSA parent community is so talented! Thank you to the Salazars—and to all the parents working on this event—for investing in our artistic future.
Hope to see you soon,
Michelle Cortez
