Hello, Artsy Folks,
It’s Homecoming Week and campus is abuzz with spirit costumes matched to our Hollywood homecoming theme as well as all kinds of Hoco proposals and plans.
MSA artists are fully integrated in the festivities in ways that amplify our school pride: MSA intermediate and advanced dance will don their football jerseys for their Homecoming Rally dance performance; Homecoming Court nominees are honing their Cinematic Arts skills in their Hoco video skits; not one but TWO MSA floats will represent our visual and performing arts disciplines down Grant Avenue Friday night; and Instrumental Music introduces its newest configuration—our pep band—at the NHS Homecoming game Saturday afternoon.
We really want to show up with pride for all parts of this special week. Know an alumni or prospective family? Make plans to bring them to the parade Friday night or game Saturday afternoon! I promise these events will be a blast and I would love to see you and your whole family at one or more wholesome, spirited, sweet events.
