MSA alum Arden Neff (’19, Cine Arts) recently performed in the Bay Area and was featured in Marin Magazine as a Novato native who has “made it” in the industry. Arden says sharing his music with family, friends, Instagram and Tic Tok was key. In fact, social media posts led to gaining 14 million followers on Spotify, finding a manager, and getting a record deal. Being immersed in music through his family and in his experience at MSA set him on his journey.
“I went to the Marin School of the Arts at Novato High and so even though I didn’t go through the music program there (I studied film), I was always around musicians and people who appreciated music,” he says.
