Hello, good people,
Last weekend was a blast getting to know our future students and families at MSA auditions and enjoying student choreography at the dance concert. Some students and families seemed to show up everywhere—a vibe that really works in our creative community.
As I work with Ms Greene and settle into the co-principal role serving all of Novato High, I relish the opportunity to work the “showing up everywhere vibe.” It’s a joy and a pleasure to lead and support all parts of the school. It’s not easy, but work we care about is worth it.
We are inspired by our students who also thrive while balancing different interests and responsibilities. Making movies and making the grades in math; preparing for poetry competitions and prioritizing family and friends—our kids impress me every day. And their supportive families and the wider community are pretty impressive too. We can’t accomplish all we take on without your support—thank you!
Warmly,
Michelle Cortez
P.S. I’ll be at Words & Music and Winter Formal this weekend—hope to see you there!
