Who doesn’t love Homecoming Week? Today the cozy pajamas were out in full force for spirit day, and tomorrow I can’t wait to experience the creativity and spirit that Halloween and a HoCo rally brings to our creative campus. Artsy kids in costume at a rally? Yes, please!
The spirit of “yes, please” is one of my favorite qualities of our artists AND their families. When I realized that both the MSA float and the freshmen class float needed support to make it a reality, I called an MSA super mom to problem solve. I know she and her adorable freshmen musician/creative writer will show up and work it out. Just like the theatre dads with the massive set build and the back of house sewing moms for Anything Goes. Or the music parents who can turn in old gym into a dance hall. Speaking of that “can do” collectivist spirit, this is a general all call for “yes, please” responses by encouraging your kiddos to dive in to HoCo festivities—there’s the rally tomorrow, the parade Friday, and the dance Saturday. We’re busy and having so much fun.
