Hello Lovely Humans,
Our creative kids are on fire!
We’re talking heartfelt performances from our DNA cast (today performing for a full house;) huge leaps in the confidence and rapport of our rock bands and really ALL our musicians (see sample below); kind collaboration between our creative writers and Lynwood elementary students; and all kinds of aha’s and finishing touches from our dancers, visual artists, film makers, and designers.
We carry this heat into the next few days* then spring break then immediately into Showcase—the ultimate MSA creative collab between all of our departments and a show not to be missed by all MSA families.
Its time to secure your Showcase tickets—or your family and anyone you want to impress. This year Showcase features the largest cast of student artists, performers, and volunteers. Your child is likely a part of it. As a parent myself, I know we can sometimes lose track of all the things our young people are doing. Don’t worry – we’ve got your back! Check out the student participants below—an imperfect list as students commit (and juggle college trips and performances) but still a great tool for you to purchase your tickets.
With so much love for all parts of our busy community,
Michelle Cortez
*MSA Theatre performs Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind tomorrow night and DNA Friday night—don’t miss these highly energetic pieces—the first 30 students per show can enter for FREE!
