Congratulations to the cast of MSA Theatre’s Young Frankenstein, winning Fan Favorite at the Rita Moreno High School Musical Honors this week! In addition, Carl Robinette won Leading Actor and will travel to compete in the Jimmy Awards on Broadway in New York City next month!
Schools competed from Bakersfield to Humboldt County and only a handful were nominated. We had more nominations (7) than any other school. Included are Carl Robinette and Ben Simpson for Leading Actor, Zoe Edwards and Sofia Storey for Leading Actress, Zach Lee and Nathan O’Halloran for Supporting Actor. “They all performed very well and 47 students represented our school and performed splendidly. We are very proud of them,” MSA Theatre Director Rodney Franz shared.
