Hello Fabulous Friends,
We have so much to share AGAIN this week—all these sweet tidbits of images and news feel like little presents we send your way—something to make you smile and feel connected and appreciated.
First there is the news of MSA kiddos going national! Kass Lott made it to the top 10 in the English Speaking Union’s Shakespeare competition in New York last weekend. And Lilly Braly advanced to the second round of Poetry Out Loud in Washington DC. Amazing! Shannon and I can barely keep up with the awards our young artists are earning (but we’ll keep trying!).

Another little gift? Some pretty darn cute portraits of guests at Showcase. Even if you couldn’t go, how can you not be charmed by images like the photos above? Thanks to photographers Niroshan De Silva, and students Emily Vella and Olivia Romaine for capturing the adorableness. You can peruse and download all the many cute pics they took at this link.
We are thankful each day for all the ways our creative community works hard, takes artistic risks, and celebrates growth. Next week is Staff Appreciation week. If you are feeling the love, consider sending your kiddos teacher the gift of gratitude. It feels good to give and receive the love.
Warmly,
Michelle Cortez
P.S. A few NHS staff will ride in the Tour of Novato next weekend. If you feel so inclined, we’d love your support on our ride which comes right back to school and our students:
