All students enrolled in arts classes are being asked for their input on their MSA classes for next school year. The MSA Recommitment Form is included as an assignment in their MSA google classrooms and is used to track all requests for next year’s arts classes.
Please check in with your student to ensure that they complete the form, especially if they would like to add or drop a program next year. Program changes are not automatic; in some cases students may need to meet with teachers and/or audition.
Students who do not fill out the form, and are in good standing, will be remain in their current program next year. Where appropriate they will advance to the next level (this includes visual arts, Cinematic Arts, Creative Writing and Theatre). Programs that require an audition or meeting with the teacher to advance to the next level include Jazz and Classical ensembles, Dance and Vocal Music. Students interested in auditioning Jan. 29 to join Rock Band can sign up now on the form posted on the Rock Band door.
