Chris Boyadjiev, MSA Music Instrumental Music (’22) and a multiple winner at Open Chest (2016 – 2021) just finished his first year of study at The Juilliard School.
The June 10 concert and sale is a fundraiser for college expenses and will be held at 3pm at 5498 Nave Drive, featuring Chris on flute and Lori Lack on piano.
Chris is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory Pre-College program, played in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, and held principal positions with both the Young People’s Symphony and the California All-State Honor Symphony. Chris’s honors and recognitions include the highest Presidential Merit Honor in the Creative Youth Awards from the Bay Area Creative Foundation, three Concerto Competitions with Marin and Young People’s Symphonies, and first place in Beyond The Masterclass Competition. At Juilliard, Chris studies with Jeffrey Khaner.
