Hello dear MSA communities,
MSA and NHS are brimming with excitement this fall. I have three specific moments from three days in the last week to share.
MSA Moment #1 – the sweet sounds of six rock bands gracing Sweetwater Music Hall on a Thursday night. One might expect tentative performances from students who haven’t been on stage for the last two years. NOT AT ALL. Every band came to play with full hearts, preparation, and confidence. It was palpable joy contagious for all.
MSA Moment #2 – Friday night, there was the homecoming parade, another awesome rock band performance, floats galore from every part of NHS, and the sweet joy of giving and receiving huge smiles bumping down Grant Avenue.
MSA Moment #3 – We finished the week with a Saturday Homecoming Football Game peppered with rain. Many MSA students made up the royal court. Packed stands applauded the crowning of our king and queen AND the varsity football team win.
The art of coming together to make heartfelt work is energizing, healing, and worth every bit of our efforts and time. I look forward to seeing you in the mix soon.
