Celebrating All MSA Students

Our artistic students are leaning into their creativity as they settle into the new school year—and, for some, find their place in a new school. Making art (and friendships) can be challenging and takes an investment of time, patience and, sometimes risk taking, to develop.  And so, in our second week of classes, we celebrate all MSA students who are already bravely, willingly and enthusiastically making art.

Ms. Kallen had Sculpture & Ceramics students spend time outside the classroom getting to know each other; Product Design students worked with Mr. Knudson on making their first projects, learning to stitch pleather key chains. In Creative Writing, Ms. Pollack shared the results of their “What’s in your head” project, which will be available outside of her classroom at Back to School Night on Sept. 1. Meanwhile, Cinematic Arts students started short-film projects and can be found with cameras in action across campus.
