Hello creative community,
Walk through the halls this afternoon and you’ll feel it: the vibrant hum of creativity brewing. It’s in the steady, focused march of students carrying sculptures to the gallery, the faint echo of monologue rehearsals through theatre doors, and the distant tuning of instruments.
This literal and figurative heavy lifting is all leading up to an incredible celebration of our campus’s artistic spirit. We’re currently setting up for Art Fest in the galleries, while also putting the finishing touches on our Digital Animation and Film Festivals coming up in a few weeks. The creative energy doubles down this week with the MSA Theatre Senior Showcase Friday May 22nd, followed by the sweeping sounds of our Spring Music Series this week.
Our students truly need these creative outlets after days of state testing. Just as importantly, they need us to notice, show up, and celebrate the incredible way they balance their rigorous academics with their passion projects.
Here’s to filling the seats, cheering loud, and honoring the hard work of these remarkable young artists. See you at the shows!
