Huge shout out to Lily Braly (’26, Creative Writing, Cinematic Arts & Theatre) is the California Poetry Out Loud State Finalist after first winning the Marin county competition hosted by Marin Cultural Association with the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Lily brought extraordinary talent and heart to the stage at the statewide competition. Her win is a beautiful reminder of how poetry can connect communities and spark creativity in young people. We’ll be cheering for Lilly when she represents California and Marin County at the nationwide Poetry Out Loud competition in Washington, D.C at the end of April.
