Cinematic Arts Film Wins National Award

MSA continues to make its mark on the national stage, with Cinematic Arts film maker Jack Alvarado winning a national award at All-American High School Film Festival in New York City. It’s the largest student film festival in the world representing all 50 states and 50 countries.

Jack’s film, We Were on a Break, won the festival’s Emerging Talent Award. Three MSA films were selected for the national competition, including:

  • Sentience by Mia Huang & Elyse Gorka
  • Fragments by Noam Rignault-Clement—also nominated for the Emerging Talent Award
  • We Were on a Break by Jack Alvarado—winner, Emerging Talent Award (view below)

As part of his award, Jack will get a free summer workshop at the Savannah Academy of Art & Design or the New York Film Academy. Congratulations to Jack and all selected film makers!
