Happy Wednesday dear MSA communities,
Spring is all about fresh perspectives, possibility, and growth.
We are diving into the season with performances, events, school tours, and many opportunities to engage with all parts of our diverse communities. From incredible senior projects like Zach Lee’s variety show fundraiser last Monday to Tess Boyd’s script and auditions for her one act play to painted murals and doors, creative expressions abound across campus.
I’m especially excited to run into incoming and prospective students and families at our events. Dancers from Love 2 Dance showed up to see their role model high school dancers at the MSA Dance Student Choreography showcase last weekend.
This Friday, I hope to see YOU too—we have our Words and Images collaboration and gallery event at 5pm at the Center for the Arts. Come hear Creative Writers perform their original pieces, check out the fresh perspectives of our photography students, and help us unveil the new sculpture and ceramics C4A installation. All are invited and welcome. Then maybe stick around for our 7pm Hornet Bowl juniors vs seniors flag football game- a school tradition and fun crowd pleaser.
Here’s to all the ways we bolster community and show up for students and ourselves.
Warmly, Michelle
MSA Director/NHS Assistant Principal
p.s. Want to show off Novato High to folks you know? I’ll be leading 45 minute general school tours in the coming weeks to show off the new development around campus. See below for more details and/or click here to reserve a spot.
