The Marin School of the Arts Foundation (MSAF) is the nonprofit organization that provides resources and funding, beyond what is financed by the public school district, to support, enhance and sustain the quality of arts education for all Novato High School and Marin School of the Arts students—about $500,000 a year. Here are just a few ways you can help us reach our goal!
Annual Giving
MSA relies extensively upon the Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) contributions to help provide for the quality education our students need and deserve. These essential funds are primarily raised through the generosity of MSA families and have been key to making MSA programs successful.
We aim for 100% participation from our families, and any level of giving is greatly appreciated. We recommend each family contribute an annual lump sum of $1,000 a year or a recurring monthly contribution of $80. Your contribution of any size today will make it possible for teachers to plan their activities with confidence, knowing the full budget will be met.
Does your family own a business? You can choose to contribute through your business as well or instead. This is a great way to take advantage of some of the promotional opportunities we offer to support the businesses that support MSA.
Contributions to the Annual Giving can be made online and can be increased by participating in your company’s matching gift and volunteer program. Participation is not a requirement for a student to attend MSA.

Business Partner Giving
It takes a village to create and maintain a sustaining arts culture. Our local businesses not only impact today’s talented public high school students but also tomorrow’s innovators and leaders. With your support, we can ensure that San Francisco Bay Area students continue to have access to our award-winning public arts education program.
Our MSA business partnerships are a community of North Bay businesses that support our programs with everything from monetary tax-deductible donations, in-kind donations, or donations of food, beverage, and supplies.
Event Fundraising
Every year the MSAF puts together two main fundraising events: Divine Wine & Food (fall event) and MSA Showcase (spring event). Divine Wine is an evening of local epicurean delights and entertainment. Showcase is a celebration of everything MSA with the culmination of our students’ work throughout the year.
