MSA Theatre Presents Ride the Cyclone

Get ready to Ride the Cyclone! Funny, wildly original, unexpectedly moving, and just a little bit twisted, Ride the Cyclone is the cult-hit musical that has become a phenomenon with audiences around the world.

When six members of a high school choir meet an untimely end in a roller coaster accident, they awaken in a strange carnival limbo where a mysterious fortune-telling machine offers them an impossible chance: one of them can return to life. To decide who deserves the second chance, each must tell their story in a bizarre, hilarious, and heartfelt competition unlike anything you’ve seen before.

This production is a true showcase of MSA’s incredible student artists, bringing together talent from across various programs. Students designed and created the sets, props, costumes, lighting, and sound in collaboration with the Product Design department. The show’s unforgettable score will be performed by a live student pit band from the Music Department, and an MSA Photography student is behind the production’s promotional photography.
