Portfolio Guidelines

1. Please provide a statement of purpose describing your interest and what you hope to learn in joining Digital Music Production. Include any past experience that you may have in recording music, including any software platforms used.

The Digital Music Production program would like to receive your statement seven days prior to your interview date in order to review it before your appointment time.

2. If you have previously recorded music tracks, you may submit one file for review before your program interview. This is an optional component and not required for admission to the program.

Interview Guidelines

You will be contacted in January to set up a time for your interview and submit your statement of purpose. If you do not receive information regarding setting up a time/date by January 20, please contact Shannon Miller, Program Specialist.

1. Digital Music Production Statement of Purpose—submitted with your interview sign-up form (see portfolio guidelines).

2. Interview—a short conversation with Mr. Gersh and current students in the program
