Congrats on finishing the first full week of school after winter break! This semester is much longer than the first, but it tends to move faster.
As we reflect on the week, we consider the many ways that our hive community comes together. The hornet is a social creature who builds a complex community within their hives. In this new year of change and of complexity, we are embracing the individuality of our hornets and the ways that our community comes together to celebrate each other.
We want to thank our hive community for the positive outlook on this change in leadership structures at Novato High School. Our students took their cues from the adults around them and the calm, relaxed way that they balanced both the return to routines, and the new content they encountered is a testament to the preparation, expertise and love you all exhibit on a daily basis.
As we endeavor upon second semester, we want to embrace this fresh start and remember that we can do hard things, but we don’t do them alone. We are your hive.
