MSA Tours/Shadows

Get to Know MSA – Virtually

Marin School of the Arts is a vibrant community of artists, thinkers and innovators who explore and grow together in a dynamic public high school. With 10 different arts programs to choose from and a faculty of professional artists, there is a program for every young artist at MSA. Students are part of a family at MSA. We take a holistic approach to arts education and offer students a chance to collaborate, develop artistically and gain confidence in their skills.

MSA students push themselves creatively in a supportive environment, share a common passion for the arts and develop talents that are essential during and after high school, such as critical thinking, confidence and perseverance.

Given COVID-19 safety restrictions, we are reformatting our MSA Tour Experience.  Sign up for a virtual tour below.

Virtual MSA Family Tours are now available online to explore program areas and better understand the breadth of our program offerings. Tours will include an overview of each MSA program area and will be followed by a live question and answer session on Zoom.

MSA Virtual Tour dates:

  • October 20 & 29
  • November 12 & 17

The MSA Online Tour experience

With this year’s virtual tours, prospective applicants will be able to view videos of each MSA program of interest from home. Tours will include a message from faculty, an overview of course offerings in that art form, samples of student work and more! We’ll also provide a link for participants to take part in live Q & A session with teachers and MSA administrators.

More information will be announced at the beginning of October. Stay tuned!

It is not necessary to tour or shadow MSA in order to apply for admission to our programs.

Student Shadow Day

We are working on plans that would allow prospective students to “virtually” shadow an MSA program after completing a Family Tour of MSA programs. While offering a more in-depth experience of MSA classes, it is not necessary to shadow in order to apply.

Shadow Days plans will be announced as soon as possible.
