MSA Shadow Days
MSA provides a number of 8th grade shadow days in the Fall/Winter for students and their families who are interested in finding out more about the program. Prospective students are paired with current MSA students who are studying in the area of interest(s) applicants indicate they are interested in. Shadows attend both MSA and academic classes with their MSA student guides. Shadow Day tours begin at 8:30am and conclude at 12:15pm.
Families MUST make a reservation for their student to attend a Shadow Day, due to space constraints no “drop in” students can be accommodated. We recommend that reservations be made at least 4-6 weeks in advance to your desired Shadow Day date. Students may only attend one shadow day.
Parents and students attend a morning information session with current MSA and NHS administrators. Parents then tour all MSA classes in session before meeting back with students at 12pm.

When signing up your students for an MSA Shadow Day:
- Please complete the entire request form.
- Students may apply for a maximize three program areas. However, students may not be able to shadow all three areas on their Shadow Day, as class schedules may overlap. Please contact Rhian Robinson to discuss program options (firstname.lastname@example.org).
- Once you have submitted your reservation, you will receive an automatic reply confirming that your reservation has been received.
- Due to technical constraints, your confirmation email will not include your Shadow Day date; please make note of the date you have selected.
Unfortunately, once Shadow Day reservations have been filled we are unable to offer additional dates; please make your reservation early. It is not necessary to Shadow MSA in order to apply to our programs.
Please email email@example.com if you have questions. More information about the application process, audition and portfolio requirements can be found on the MSA Admission pages to familiarize yourself and your student with the application process, as well as the audition and/or portfolio requirements for each MSA program area.
